About Kimberly Giunta

Kimberly works at the intersection of classical Āyurveda and somatic practice. For over 25 years, she has supported people navigating chronic illness and autoimmune disease with body-based approaches that weave together Āyurveda, yoga, marma, and polarity.

As founder of My Āyurveda Mentor, she designs educational programs for wellness professionals and midlife women. Her clinical practice, Greenwood Āyurveda, centers on personalized care for those living with cancer, Lyme Disease, CPTSD, perimenopause, and digestive disorders.

As a graduate of the Āyurvedic Institute and ĀyuAcademy, with a diploma from The Bancroft School of Massage Therapy and a summa cum laude B.A. in English Literature, she brings intellectual depth and therapeutic skill to her writing and curriculum development.

Grounded in her own healing experiences–including Lyme Disease, ulcerative colitis, and open-heart surgery–Kimberly brings warmth, resilience, and compassion to her work. She may often be found exploring pine forests in the company of her joyful companion, the golden retriever, Cosmos.

Credentials + Experience

Kimberly, in an amber colored sleeveless sweater with a long sleeved cream colored shirt beneath, with her hands on her denim clad legs, leans against a tree as she basks in sunshine

My favorite things:

  • early morning walks on a carpet of pine needles

  • Saturday mornings at the Farmer’s Market

  • the wholesome humor of Ted Lasso

  • photographing sunsets from my kayak

  • browsing used book stores and vintage thrift shops

wearing a yellow t shirt and blue patterned apron, standing in a commercial kitchen, Kimberly hand-stirs ghee in a large copper bowl.
A golden retriever gazes up at the camera with soul-full eyes. He is lying down on a pale blue yoga mat and beige blanket with purple yoga blocks on either side.

Meet Cosmos!

(we share an office ;)

I envision a world where women honor their menopausal journey as a time of profound personal evolution. I seek to foster a culture where women step into their roles as wisdom-keepers, cultivating inner guidance, and outward impact in alignment with their true desires and the needs of their communities.

I mentor Āyurveda practitioners longing to deepen their clinical practice with connection to the logic, complexity, and wisdom of the classical texts.

Dressed in a navy blouse with silver hoops in her ears, Kimberly smiles enigmatically while seated in a late autumn field

I’ll listen deeply, guide gently, and hold your vision with the fierce tenderness of someone who knows what it’s like to forget and to come home again.
